Unboxing der Fairyloot September 2021: Uprising

Heute kam die Benachrichtung, dass die Oktoberbox auf dem Weg ist. Höchste Zeit also, dass ich euch den Inhalt der Septemberbox zeige, die unter dem Motto ‚Uprising‘ stand. Das besondere für mich persönlich an dieser Box ist eine Premiere: Alle enthaltenen Fandoms sind zu Büchern, die schon ins Deutsche übersetzt wurden oder nächstes Jahr übersetzt werden. Ist das nicht cool?

Das erste Item hat mir dann schon gleich mal gar nicht gefallen. Eine Art Wandteppich, inspiriert von ‚Daughter of Smoke and Bone‘ von Laini Taylor, das ich tatsächlich noch in diesem Monat lesen will. Nichtsdestotrotz gefällt mir das Design des Dekostücks nicht soo gut und außerdem habe ich auch keine Verwendung dafür

Dafür trifft das nächste Item voll meinen Geschmack: Ich liebe bunte Socken!! Diese sind von ‚Six Crimson Cranes‘ von Elizabeth Lim inspiriert, das im Vormonat Teil der Box war und nächstes Jahr bei Carlsen auf Deutsch erscheinen wird! Ich liebe die Farbkombi und die Kranichmotive und freu mich schon, sie anzuziehen.

Den Kartenhalter fand ich im ersten Augenblick nicht so nützlich, aber vor allem im Urlaub, wo man vielleicht nicht seinen ganzen Geldbeutel mitschleppen will, könnte dieses flache Item durchaus von Nutzen sein. Es ist inspiriert von ‚The Prison Healer‘ von Lynette Noni, das auch nächstes Jahr auf Deutsch erscheinen wird (bei Loewe)!!

Der Pin ist bei der Fairyloot ja nie zum aktuellen Buch (im Gegensatz zur Illumicrate), und ist diesen Monat von ‚An Ember in the Ashes‘ von Sabaa Tahir inspiriert. Es ist bei uns als ‚Elias & Laia‘ erschienen und wird im nächsten Frühjahrsprogramm auch auf Deutsch einen Abschluss finden, denn der vierte und letzte Teil wird bei ONE erscheinen.

Die monatlich enthaltenen Tarotkarten sind wieder von ‚Caraval‘ von Stephanie Garber inspiriert und zeigen Jacks und den Gefallenen Stern.

Nun kommen wir schon zu den Büchern. Richtig, Büchern! Denn es sind wieder zwei enthalten und beide standen auf meiner Wunschliste.

Das, sagen wir mal, Hauptbuch, ist ‚Defy the Night‘ von Brigid Kemmerer, deren ‚Emberfall‘-Trilogie geduldig wartend im Regal ausharrt. Das Buch hat ein exklusives Cover, einen farbigen Buchschnitt, Folierungen auf dem Buchcover, eine Buchszene auf dem Umschlag, ein Lesebändchen und ist signiert.
